Problem Statement
How might we support local musicians in forming compatible connections by addressing the limited access to platforms for discovering interest-based groups, local events, and potential collaborators?
Proposed Solution
We designed DubJam, a music-focused social platform, as a centralized hub for musicians to discover curated events, connect with groups and collaborators, and stay engaged in their local community.
Imagine you're a student musician looking to connect with others who share your goals. You're busy, haven't had time to attend events, and your posts about a live show on social media didn’t get any responses. What you really want is a consistent group of musicians with similar interests, skill levels, and schedules to grow together and make music regularly.
